The Studio

Last weeks Spring Greening Yard Sale, [the studio]’s fundraising community event was very successful thanks to the many contributions! We’d like to genuinely thank all of you who helped either by volunteering, donating goods, shopping at the sale, and donating money. We would especially like to thank Ginger and Sweet Ever After for flavoring our day with sweetness and spice and contributing their profits. Also, Sheila at BEAN was a gracious help in organizing volunteers in the charity spirit.

Your efforts went to directly to the following charities: Shanghai Roots and Shoots environmental education to help teach children in China about the environment, Project Integration to sponsor a migrant child to attend school, and to the Grameen Foundation providing small loans to entrepreneurial women in Western China. The funds are in addition to a van full of clothing donated to rural western China through the River of Hearts Organization and another load of goods that were distributed to needy migrants in Shanghai.
