Develop and enhance sketching and painting skills while learning about art theory and prominent artists and movements. A jovial atmosphere to explore your artistic potential. [the studio], an accessable arts venue for the general public and a learning community inspiring creativity in everyone, is offering evenings of live drawing accompanied by champagne. Develop and hone your sketching skills in a merry setting with a live model. A unique opportunity to advance or begin your ability to draw the human form. A social atmosphere stimulating creativity, and an intriguing idea for an organized “hens nights” or “girls night out.” Instructed by a professional artist.

[the studio], an artist community dedicated to creativity and growth through the making and understanding of the visual arts, is inviting artists to submit work for exhibition. We request works pertaining to the broad topic, “street” through any interpretation or relation for a group exhibition. The show opens Friday September 5th. Young artists and their instructors had fun all week at [the studio]’s first week of summer workshops! Creation and spirits were high, we’re eager for more, so we’ve developed another session. We are offering additional courses in August, Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 the weeks of the 4th and 11th. There is a maximum of 10 students per workshop so please book in advance.
